30.01.2009 My Very Own Book nominated for the Sunny Book 2008
Although having been published in the last quarter of 2008, My Very Own Book has found its place among the nominees for the Sunny Book 2008. The awards ceremony was held in the premises of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts on 27th January, where Žiga was granted special thanks for his positive contribution by My Very Own Book.
Your opinions
I »entered« this book a few months before it was published, when it wasn't quite clear how it would look at the end. I was reading it already in its raw state, with mistakes, without titles, covers, photos, and drawings. In spite of that, it fascinated me. I feel honoured that Žiga asked for my advice during its compiling, and I am delighted that now the book is much more beautiful than I could ever imagined.

We invite you to participate in writing My special moments!
Send us a photo which for you symbolizes your special moment. Add a title and a short brief description of what your photo represents. Photo with your story will be published on competit, where visitors will be able to choose the winner. The owner of the photos, which collects the most votes (likes) has won a free copy of My very own book with a personal inscription by the author. Selections will be held each month by the end of 2012, winners will be announced the last day of each month.

Terms and conditions
The prize is open to citizens of Slovenia and foreign nationals. The award is open to all users of Facebook page My very own book for the duration of the cometition, which will send one or more images in accordance with the rules of the game. User can send us a photo if he is the author, or if he has the consent of the author to publish the photograph. If the photos is involved a second person, then you agree you have a permission for the publication of this person.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
• Send us a photo that represents your speciaI moment to info@srecna-knjiga.si
• Write name of the photos and a short brief description of what the photo represents and why this moment is so important to you
• In the message, sign with the name and last name with which you would like us publish your photo
Number of submitted photos is limited to 5 per month and may affect the selection of winners. The votes of all submitted photos are not cumulative, nor transfered to the next month.
Prize winners may continue to send photos that we publish, but the votes of their photos are no longer taken into account.
Rules of the game
By participating in the competition the user accepts the general terms of participation. The organizer reserves the right to not publish socially unacceptable, illegal and duplicate photos. Users takes the responsibility for authorship of the transmitted images and to obtain the necessary permits for the post. In the case of incomplete entries, incorrect or false information (authorship photos, e-mail address or name, surname and address), the organizer has the right to reject the participation or to exclude you from the competition. Photos that reflect an insult, hatred or contain pornographic motifs and designs of illegal acts, the organizer will not publish. Participants, who will send these photos will be excluded from the organizer of the contest. With accepting rules and conditions of the game, the user gives all copyright to the organizer, in all cases and all forms for all purposes of product promotion tour.
The organizer will need to translate your texts into foreign languages. Because of the diversity of languages, we reserve the right to make minor changes in the translated texts.
Winners
Prize winners will be assumed by mail. Postage recipients is covered by themselves in accordance with the applicable tariff.
Winners will be notified via email.
If the winner, within 14 days after receiving notification of a package, does not assume it, it is considered that it rejects. In this case, you still need to cover the incurred costs.
Protection of personal data
By participating in the competition, the user accepts the terms and conditions and agrees that his personal data are stored, processed and used for direct marketing purposes and for the game. Participants in the competition can at any time request a review, update, or delete of their personal data or termination of processing of their personal data for the purposes of this competition and direct marketing, in accordance with the law. The organizer is obliged to manage the information provided in accordance with the Protection of personal data. Also, the data will not be provided to third parties ineligible or otherwise abused. If you do not want us to use your information for direct marketing purposes, please confirm your request in writing to the company (Savlje 14, 1000 Ljubljana).
Final provisions
The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of competition. Any changes and updates will puslish at Facebook page My very own book and / or on the website.
